A vibrant energy animates St. Paul's, Brighton, as it has throughout our 140 year history. It is the desire to make God's inclusive love tangible and accessible to all people who have brought us to this time in our history.
In the past, St. Paul's visionary leaders have seized moments for making courageous, careful and forward thinking choices that have led to growth, renewal and the transformation of countless lives. From our humble beginnings of worshiping in an orchard in 1837 to the current building, the engagement of Christ in the world has been central to the sense of welcome and inclusion that has become a part of St. Paul's DNA.
Our historic church building, dedicated in 1880 and later expanded in 1951, 1992, and 2014, offers a warm and inviting space where we come together in large and small groups to worship, question, rejoice, mourn, and support each other.
We are committed to creating an environment of inclusive hospitality, engaging with our community in raising individual and communal consciousness about faith, and striving for peace and justice in a complex and confusing world.
We are a community that through our new facilities can be proclaim to the world that “Wherever you are on your faith journey…Whatever you believe or don’t believe…You are welcome at St. Paul!"
