of my family, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:40

Responding Everyday Against Community
Homelessness will return to St. Paul’s this year in April 2009. Please prayerfully consider giving of your time and
compassion to this ministry. Cooks, drivers, prayers, kind hearts
and overnight chaperones are some of the ways you can help. Look
for sign-up sheets and more information in January. You can
contact Jenny Ritter with any questions.
Service & Outreach & Inreach (S.O.I.)
S.O.I represents the St. Paul's community in reaching out both to the needs of the wider community as well as our parish. SOI meets between services as needed and any member of the congregation is invited to attend the meetings. Feel free to
join us to learn more about what we do and to contribute your
ideas. All are welcome!
The Christmas Season: Although our Christmas projects have not
been fully developed yet, we can probably count on some of “the
usual”. We most likely will have a LACASA family to shop for.
The “Mitten Tree” (mittens, scarves, gloves, hats) is also one of St.
Paul’s annual projects. There will undoubtedly be other service
activities.
Loaves & Fishes
Loaves & Fishes is committed to providing free, nutritious meals and support services in a dignified, safe, and caring environment. We provide these services to all needy individuals, with special concern for families and senior citizens. St. Paul's is committed to serving the working poor, families, homeless and seniors living in and around the Brighton area in cooperation with other local churches. For more information please contact Phil Smith through the Parish Office.
Gleaners Food Bank
St. Paul's supports the Livingston County Gleaners food bank by regular can goods donations through out the year. During the summer months fresh produce from the G3 gardens
is regularly donated to aide those in most need of fresh fruits and vegetables in our community.
Special Projects
Each year the members of St. Paul's adopts a special project which becomes our focus during the Lenten Season. So far we have bought over 500 mosquito nets to combat Malaria in regions of Africa. In 2009 we raised funds to build a well cap in Malawi as part of our special project.
