: : Adult Formation

Adult formation is an important part of who we are as a community of faith. Since we believe that faith is a life long process of becoming, we see Adult formation as a journey with a few signs to point the way.

Jesus himself continued to grow and change as he developed his ministry so are we called to continue to grow, even as adults. Below you will find the latest Adult offerings. Please join us for a class. You never know, it might change your life.

LifeCycles
LifeCycles is based upon the understanding that all Christians are called to, and commissioned by, baptism for participation in Christ's ministry in the world and in the church. Working through small groups, LifeCycles aims to empower all members to realize their God-given gifts and so become ever more active, articulate apostles at work in God's world, and to transform congregations to become vital, ministering communities.

History of God
From where did your personal concept of Godevolve?  Is it the result of a 4000 year quest?  Is it the same today as it was 10, 20, 30 years ago?

Theologian Karen Armstrong authored the book, A History of God, and the History Channel later produced a video programof her work.  Armstrong’s book and the subsequent television documentary take a look at the countless ways human beings have experiencedgod throughout the ages:  from the days before Abraham to today.
